Spotting Fraud in 2025

The ways that fraudsters approach victims, including the elderly, is becoming more sophisticated. In this session, Corporal Milne will describe the clever types of scams they use, how to spot a scam and how to protect yourself from scammers.

Biography

Corporal Sean Milne joined the RCMP in 2007, serving at posts in British Columbia and Alberta. He became a full-time fraud investigator in 2017 and a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2020.
