Capture and Edit Your Smartphone Photos

Learn to capture photos and videos with your Android or iPhone camera! In this one-hour session, we'll cover camera settings, shooting modes, and why your phone may have so many lenses. We’ll take a look at some basic editing tools, where your camera may be storing your pictures, and how you might get them onto a computer for further projects. This session is great for beginners and those who want to get more out of their smartphone!

Biography

Shawn has taught software skills at MacEwan University for over 25 years. His other clients include ELLA, Northgate and Central Lion’s Senior’s Centres. He has also provided training services to the Provincial Government of Alberta, Metro Continuing Education, Edmonton Public Schools, Enbridge and a host of private tutorial clients. Last but certainly not least, Shawn has taught computer skills at other senior’s organizations such as SAGE and SEESA as well as working with organizations such as the Lobstick Community Learning Society and the Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association. Teaching constantly reminds Shawn of how much more he needs to learn, and that the pursuit of knowledge is a key to happiness.
