Seniors Accommodations: Choices, Choices, Choices

Steven will explore all levels of senior living in Alberta, including ageing in place in your home (seeking homecare and renovations to your home); independent living in a retirement residence (private and public); independent supportive living in a retirement residence (private and public); and type B care with Alberta Health Services and type A with Alberta Health Services. Steven will speak about all levels of care and the pros and cons of each. By assessing their situation and doing a bit of homework, attendees will navigate their journey safely and arrive at choices that fulfill their quest.

Biography

Steven is a proud father of three, retired teacher and is currently on the Board of Directors for Edmonton Seniors Pride Edmonton. After retirement from Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools, Steven took on a new challenge of being the Retirement Living Consultant for Chartwell St. Albert Retirement Residences. In this position, Steven speaks to several people every day who require guidance through the current retirement landscape in Alberta.
